How It Started

After marrying off 3 of my daughters (and catering one with 125 guests!), as mother of the bride, with a flair for design,
detail and delicious food, I knew instantly that hosting weddings would be a part of my near future.

My middle daughter wanted EVERYTHING perfect. Including 2 dresses and loads of decorations. We made her wedding
together adding new ideas as we got closer to the date. It was a beautiful event. The satisfaction of not only seeing my
daughter happily married to her high school sweetheart, but the “good tired” I felt when we were through filling the last
vase and primping hair and make up.

I went through 3 aprons but managed to keep my mother of the bride dress spotless. (I don’t know how!!!) We went
through 4 turkeys, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, green beans buttered in slivered almonds, red mashed potatoes,
rolls, herb butter and sprigs and sprigs of sage and rosemary to fragrant the tables. Oh and wedding cake, simple and
delicious from Scratch bakery.

This outdoor wedding and the weather was beautifully executed, an Indian summer September. Everyone had a great time
celebrating their happy day.

The passion for design, detail and delicious food had a new ingredient. What was evident during that day was one simple
element, joy. This joy is the driving force of my desire to make a bride and groom’s day one that will be held in their heart
forever. The joy of the couple, family and friends is what I seek to make your day the happiest day of your life.
